Bridgwater Cycling Club is spoilt for choice with cycling routes around the beautiful local countryside. Our Club members take it in turns to lead rides to different locations each week, this helps to keep things interesting.
The club ride on the first Sunday of each month is a steady-paced, flat ride between 45-50 miles in total with a coffee break halfway. This ride is particularly suitable for new riders and has proved to be very popular since we introduced it recently.
On the other Sunday’s our club rides are typically 50-55 miles in total, again with a coffee break. The routes vary depending on what the ride leader chooses and can be flat, undulating or hilly! The pace can also vary but is typically 15-16mph depending on the terrain and the riders on the day. Sometimes different groups will form during the ride to suit. However, no riders get left behind.

Sunday club rides typically depart from the Cornhill in Bridgwater at 9am. Occasionally, rides will depart from other meeting points in order to reach different locations.
Club members also ride together on an ad-hoc basis during the week, which are informally organised through Facebook.
All rides start at the Cornhill unless otherwise stated.
