Our Club Rides
Our friendly club openly welcomes riders of all abilities and levels of experience. All rides will always go at a pace which everyone in the group is comfortable with, nobody gets dropped.
We all share the same passion for riding our bikes, whether that be on a social group ride at a leisurely pace, a much livelier training ride with like minded riders, across the flats of the Somerset Levels or the testing climbs of the Quantocks Hills.
Our varied schedule of club rides endeavours to offer something for everyone to enjoy group riding in safety.
Sunday Club Ride
Every Sunday departing the Cornhill at 09:00am
Each week two routes are published on the club social media pages, a shorter option of around 35-40 miles and a longer option of 50-55 miles, the amount of climbing involved will vary each week but will always be relatively easy on the shorter route.
The ride leader will allocate the groups on the day making sure all abilities are catered for.
The groups will aim to arrive at a pre-arranged coffee shop by 11:00am for refreshments before returning to Bridgwater around 1:00 pm.
On the first Sunday of everyone month this ride goes to Double Gates Tea Rooms in Godney which is designed to be an easier ride and a great intro to the club and riding in a group
Saturday Morning Social
Saturdays departing Bridgwater Hospital at 09:15am
A social paced ride going to Corks cafe in Langport, everyone rides at the same pace but the group may be split into smaller groups to maintain road safety.
