Instead of a club ride on this day there will be a club trip to Newport velodrome.
A bit more background about the session: We will have a coach for the session who will guide us though different drills. We’ll split up into 2 groups, probably 1 group for people who have never been on a track or those less confident and one intermediate/more advanced group. So you’ll probably be riding for about 25 mins then have a 30 min break, repeating over the 3 hours, giving a decent work out.
The velodrome track bikes are fitted with either Look Keo pedals or toe clips – if you don’t use Look Keo cleats you can purchase the cleats which fit on most SPD-SL shoes.
We can also arrange lift sharing between us to Newport nearer the time to keep travel costs down.
