A note from Trevor Coombe, this week's ride leader:

The route is B/W, Woolavington, Shapwick, left, Westhay, Mudglay hill, Wedmore, Cheddar, Axbridge. COFFEE. Cross, over and left, Alston Sutton, Chapel Allerton, Mark, Woolavington and B/W.
No Garmin route as I have just changed it, but I will know the route - maybe!!!

Hello,
Although it's not very nice outside at the moment - a 'wintry' squall is just passing through - the forecast for tomorrow speaks of better things. The wind is supposed to drop, it should be dry and sunny but overall will be cold.
In the hope that this all comes true, I propose to try again for the ride to Sand Bay as outlined a week ago. That is 9.15 from 'Buyology' (soon to be 'Wickes', I understand) Dunball, Puriton, East Huntspill, Watchfield, Mark and across the moor, if you are joining en route.
Let's hope that things go our way for a change.

Peter.

Hello,
Having "wimped" out of the most recent rides I look forward, rather nervously, to giving it a go tomorrow. Hopefully, the forecast low temperatures and the threat of 'scraping ice off the windscreen' will pass us by - also that the wind will have dropped to a manageable level.
Still staying on the side of caution, I propose that we meet at Buyology (now a building site) for a 9.15 depart but with a flexible idea about a coffee venue. We will head northwards through Puriton, East Huntspill, Watchfield and Mark if anyone should wish to join along the way.
Then, depending on the conditions and who is along with us, we can aim for ............... WSM or Sandy Bay or BOS or ............... ? We'll see.

Until tomorrow.
Peter

Hi All,

This Sunday's rides takes us to Yandles Cafe in Martock. Our ride leader Geoffrey Hicks will provide an interesting mostly flat route there and back. The forecast from 9am onwards is dry if a little windy.

Usual start time of 9am at the Cornhill. Like the last few weeks we hope to have a large attendance.
